I couldn't find my hooks either and crocheted myself a hook case out of recycled plastic bags. Here is the link http://www.myrecycledbags.com/2007/05/05/recycled-hook-case/ if anyone is interested. The pattern is free for private use. It's a fun little project and a great way to use those plastic bags in an eco-friendly way.

Very cute, I love the fabric. To keep stretchy fabric from stretching, you can use fusible interfacing, which would make it a little sturdier. I love the snap idea.

If only one of those would hold all my hooks. I think I would have to make about 20. Bad habbit of collecting tools I guess.

Hey there -- Your needle roll is beautiful! I love it!! (ok your hook roll - sorry)

I wanted to share the needles rolls I made out of two napkins (I don't sell them anymore): http://couldbefun.blogspot.com/2006/01/needle-rolls-for-sale.html

It's a really fun and easy project because you don't have to sew up ends, cut fabric, etc. - they are already finished for you!!! And you can go crazy with buying napkin fabrics and hardly spend anything!

Just a suggestion for making your fun go further

Oh then if you are really board - you can buy some placemats and make them into cute purses: http://couldbefun.blogspot.com/2005/11/from-placemats-to-purses.html

Yes - My name is Alison, I shop in Target's home department for crafts supplies and I have NO life - LOL
