OMG I found your site through "Stumble" the Firefox add-on, and I am SO glad I did. I only wish I'd have found you sooner! Our son is 6 years old and we have a 1 year old daughter. Both of our kids are on the skinny side and very tall, and this idea would have saved us TONS of money on onesies/shirts! My Mom has a sewing machine, and I'm digging out ALL of the onesies that our little girl has just outgrown and taking them over there today to try it out. Also, thanks for the idea with the elastic/buttons in the waist, We'll be trying this one out too. I'll let you know if I can make it work for me as well as you did. *Tish Holmes, McConnell AFB, KS*

Good Idea. I never thought of doing that. But I did think about taking an older/disliked onesie and cutting off the snaps part. Then take that part and sew it together to where the snaps are about two-four inches (depending on how much I need for them to fit Peyton) and then using it as a onesie extender.

Very clever idea. Babies grow so fast it's a shame to waste their clothes.
