I am Flora from Goa.

I am so glad i found your site, i spend my weekends doing little bit of whatever is covered on yr site , i love specially the crochet and embroidery lessons you have covered. Really fantastic.

My first project was to make a quilt, second a sewing cover and i am on teaching little girls on my colony to do embroidery after learning the various stitches, so beautifully shown pictures, Good Job…how could i post pictures to you?

I have subscribed for your newsletters and look forward to do more projects every weekend.

I really liked the videos this week. So easy to follow.

Don’t know if I’ll be able to keep up with all the homework, though! You’re keeping us busy!

I figured out my tension issue. I was using the wrong type of wool. It wasn’t worsted weight, so all my squares were turning out too small. Things are going much better now .

A ripple stitch is simply a pattern consisting of (usually) double crochet. Here is a great beginner ripple pattern:

I like the portability of this project, too. Its so easy to carry, when I am carrying it to my mom’s house to ask for help at the points I am getting stuck on. These are some very cool squares. It feels satisfying to complete each one.

Cool stitches this week! I love the video links, they are so very helpful. You know, I have to admit, these little squares make for the most portable projects. I’m loving your lessons so far (except for that granny square, i still can’t figure that pattern out..but I will!). Your doing a fab job even with your work load and a broken camera.

Could you post something about the ripple stitch? I would love to make an afghan with left-over yarn, but am not sure about how to do the stitch. Thank you so much for all the valuable information.
