We had a crocheted Christmas card bowl when I was little.

This past year I did a similar thing with the notebooks, but used scrapbook paper. I made a bunch of them and gave them to friends in November to use as organizers for the holidays.

Thanks for posting these links! I remember at school (30 years ago) making a ball out of old Christmas cards, and I’ve been looking to make something similar for years! Guess I know what I’ll be doing when I take the cards down!
