Jiggety Jig

I have a new toy. It’s called a jig and you use it to shape wire into pretty, fun things. It’s essentially just a peg board with pegs.
You kind of guide the wire around the pegs. This one is going to be. . .
… an “interesting” bookmark.
So far I like my earrings best (note to self: buy more wire).

Home again, home again, Jiggety Jig!
Have fun! I got my jig a few months ago and have gone through 3 spools of copper wire just experimenting!

How cute I love the earring in the middle picture. When I first got into wire jewellery making I bought myself a jig but unfortunately I only used it a few times and now 5 years later I have no idea where it is. But now I feel like getting back into it just to see what swirly pattern I could come up with.

I bought a jig at Michaels about 5-6 yrs ago and I LOVED it!!
I even have a book on making some amazing projects (like butterflies)with beads using the jig.
You will definately enjoy it.
I wound up getting rid of mine after several years(lack of use) but sometimes I miss having it.

I have a wire jig, too…I really should get into using it more, though. I’ve seen so many cool things made with it but I get so preoccupied making other things that I’ve not used it at much as I want to. You’ve given me the urge to pull it out and play with it for a while. Thanks! lol
