Jen attributes her craftiness and restless hands to her talented mother and grandmother with whom she spent most afternoons as a child with the TV off and some kind of craft in her hand. She loves being home with her son full-time to work on the things she enjoys, mainly: stamping and knitting, and occasionally sewing, scrap-booking, embroidery and jewelry-making. She would say a lot of her work is experimental since she’s stubborn about reading patterns and likes to toy with the innovative ideas that spring now from having a baby.

Her curious, smiling son Judah turned one on January 3rd, and besides running after him, Jen also enjoys hosting the college students that her equally creative husband works with for dinner and crafts. Her most recent projects she is proud of involve felted knitting:
