Felt Valentines
February 8th, 2007 by HeatherOne of the message boards I’m a part of decided to do a secret Valentine’s day exchange. Since it is for the babies that are six to seven months old, I wanted to make the Valentines out of a material that the baby could hold and play with. So I took a great idea from Candace, and used felt.
The only materials needed are felt in your choice of colors, coordinating embroidery thread and a pair of scissors.

You can make the valentines any shape you want, I chose the usual hearts and flowers. Cut out all the shapes you are going to use…

And then simply stitch them together with the embroidery thread. You could also stitch the name of the recipient on the front as well, so they don’t look so plain.
