And thank you everyone for following the lessons and your comments along the way! I really enjoyed doing them, and I look forward to more”schools” in the future! Watch for a learn to knit school after the embroidery school!

Heather I Tried so hard to finish mine by sunday, but I only got it about halfway done. Hopefully I will be able to show a finished product by friday. I will put a picture on the flickr group of what I have so far. Thanks for the fun and informative lessons. I might give the knitting a try when that starts.

Great job ladies! I didn’t finish enough squares for a blanket, but I do have some lovely new cotton washcloths now, and two really cute purses.

Wow! I am so impressed!

Those look great! I finished 32 squares and did seem them together, but ultimately decided that I would rather make it larger before adding the edging. Alas that meant I wan’t going to be eligible for the contest

I finished mine last night except for weaving in my yarn ends from the seams. I did 25 squares and added some size to the blanket by including a wide border between the rows and around the edge. It took FOREVER! This was so much fun and though I sometimes got frustrated or impatient, and at times tried to figure who I was going to give this ugly afghan to so I wouldn’t have to keep it, I have now fallen in love with the finished product! Thank you so much, Heather, for these great lessons.

I wish you would have posted the pattern on your website. It’s hard to look back throughout all of your posts to find the patterns for the squares, and when I do find the links half of them are gone.
Can you post the pattern for the Sampler Afghan on the website?
