Embroidery Lesson
September 12th, 2007 by CandaceI appologize for not having Lesson 5 ready this week – time has gotten away from me and I don’t see it happening. So this week we’ll continue practicing all the stitches, and next week we’ll combine the stitches for Lesson 5 & 6 for the final lesson. Event tho there are no new stitches to cover this week, there is another design template for homework for you to complete. If you’d like to show-off your completed work, email it to [email protected]. Below are more finished homework that’s been turned in – you guys are doing so great!
from Melissa
from Caley

all such beautiful work.
i have not been able to work from the patterns. i have been here and there so much. but have been doing random work using all the stitches on one piece. will submit it at the end of the final lesson.
thank you for such great instructions.

i have a question.
the little embroidery threads that are left over, too short.
is there any use for them in another way? or just throw them away?
feels like there might be a usefullness to them….not sure.

I think it’s lovely how everyone has used very basic embroidery stitches to create some very beautiful dresses.
I’d love to have one of those designs embroidered on an apron.

I have a question. I know that woven fabrics are a better choise for embroidering on, but are there any tips on using T-shirt material to embroider on?
Thanks.
